Watched an early screening of "Goodbye, Lara," an upcoming anime by Kinema Citrus which will air this summer. Very beautifully animated and so far an interesting reimagining of "The Little Mermaid" in that it serves as a sequel to a potential bad end where Lara doesn't get her happily ever after. The anime is directed by Takushi Koide and is known for his heavy involvement with Revue Starlight. The character designer is Shiori Tani, also known for Revue Starlight. The overall style feels reminiscent of a 90's anime, and the first episode ends with a pretty big cliffhanger so I'll be looking forward to watching the rest of the anime once it airs.

@fuedalreese They're probably not going to continue it considering tului has a listed japanese voice actor but the mongolian voices are done by actual mongolian sumo wrestlers! my guess is the moment sitara gets more familiar with the language they'll switch into japanese
