After doing Online Marketing for many years the thing I realized is MOST IMPORTANT is Legal Compliance This is the easiest thing to overlook at the start & many big names even advocate totally ignoring any legal mumbo jumbo when getting started While I see their sentiment, it’s still Very Stupid You must ensure you have a Legal & Compliant business above all else It takes one legal issue to completely ruin your business, destroy your finances & potential put you in jail & ruin your life I’ve sadly seen this happen to many people, one outcome or another Many of them are good people with families. They aren’t violent criminal thugs. Many things that seemed totally innocent & like funny jokes on Twitter are Life Ruiners if the gov or a lawyer takes a look at it If you don’t follow this advice, which is genuine & not made with financial motives, you’re simply hoping to get lucky which is generally a bad long term strategy

Or be smarter like in Europe and UAE - my parents can’t walk long distances but short distances it’s all fine. In Barcelona they had the buggies to the gate - same in Abu Dhabi. Problem solved. Etihad actually gave an option if the need proper wheelchair or just transfer to the gate.

To be honest, if you're going into any sort of DTC business relying on paid acquisition
This is the ONLY information that really matter
Business should be built with the idea that you should be able to lose as much money as possible in the beggining and make it up later

how are you supposed to launch a supplement brand or be profitable in ecom fully white hat and compliant without being VC backed… ?

@footyhan No one likes drunk Brits here. And don’t listen to Twitter garbage - I have quite a few Indians on my team and a very nice family from Punjab as my neighbor - no one complains of racism in Barcelona. Pretty multicultural here.

@boholives @Lisa9Sophia We went from “why not compete?” to money laundering, macroeconomic GDP stats, gig economy labor laws, and attributing the entire $50B national NDIS budget to fraud. The mental gymnastics required to avoid just saying “I don't want to compete” are wild. Have a good one.

@clankercode @Lisa9Sophia ...these 'registered businesses' are often workarounds for employers, so they can circumvent labor laws about wages etc.
Not to mention the tax-payer funded insurance scam involving immigrants setting-up fraudulent disability support businesses: cost blow-out now $50B p.a.
