I think Trump is going to lose pretty badly but if he were to somehow win, I feel like we’re 1,000% going to look back and go, “yeah we might have underplayed the January 6th stuff.”

Trump doesn’t even give a shit about policy. He just pretends to have policies because he innately understands that a president is supposed to have them, but his only real “policy” is that his interests come first, no matter what.

It’s insane that normal political discussion of Trump is like, “look, this guy’s policies are bad.” Oh are they? I can’t believe the guy who tried to overthrow the US government isn’t deeply invested in crafting good policy. “No I can’t leave. I need to bring down grocery prices”

They should make a movie out of this

In 20 years, history will not look kindly at the fact that it took 1.5 hours of a debate to (briefly) get to climate change.

Sorry folks but a presidential candidate should only have concepts of a plan. Some loose ideas. A few hare-brained schemes. Committing to anything is a risk. You gotta stay flexible.

Because Pennsylvania is the single most important state in the election and if she comes out against fracking, she will lose Pennsylvania which means Trump wins which means the climate is fucked.

They could crouch and hide behind their podiums and wait for a lull and then when everyone thinks they’re just going to stay there, one of them could go apeshit on the other one

If one candidate wins, it will greatly speed up the already catastrophic course we’re on to fully reach hell on Earth and it’s just an afterthought.

Just insane that we even have to have a debate about policy when this is the single most important distinction between the two candidates.

The media: We need firm details about policy from Kamala Harris. We’re not just going to make assumptions about what she stands for and call that a policy. Trump: We’re going to deport over 15 million immigrants. The media: Trump Unveils New Housing Policy
