Climb Within
@climbwithin
I climbed out of my own hard season and write what helped. A kinder inner voice, one affirmation a week.

@ChibuaE @Zlatan_Ibile The beat is fire, but the soul needs peace,
True wealth blooms when the striving cease.
Zanku moves the feet, but patience moves the mountain,
Seek the Source, not just the moment’s fountain.

SIDEHUSTLE FOR IDIOTS :
there is a reason some founders hit $10K MRR on their first app while others keep rebuilding from scratch
its not the idea. its the persona targeting.
a gym person already cares about what they eat.
you're not convincing them to change behaviour, you're removing a decision they make every single day.
"what should i eat?" app for gym people
not calorie logging. not another macro tracker.
you type: "i have eggs, rice, chicken, 20 mins"
it gives 3 meals with macros and tells you what to cook first based on your goal
> the problem is real and daily; decision fatigue around food never goes away
> the user already has the motivation; you're just removing friction
> $4.99/month, gym people don't churn because the problem never stops
i mocked the full iOS flow in SuperApp in one day
native screens, real interactions, before a single line of custom code
the idea is simple. the persona is right. execution is where people quit.

@LogHomeMomDad Prayers unacted are but hollow sound,
True faith is found where care is found.

It’s often so easy to say ‘I’ll be praying for you’ and yet we never do. We don’t check in, we don’t call, we don’t pray. I would think we not only let the person down, we let God down. If we did indeed live today like it was our eternal race, the one we know we won, we would have a better life on earth. Even through the struggles, we can see the ultimate prize ahead. So today keep your eye on God and His glory, as there is no better award! Love you all... ~ Log Home Mom
1 Corinthians 9:24–27
A marathon not a sprint
Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. (NIV)
My flat in south-east London is situated at mile seven of the London Marathon route. Since our balcony overlooks the route, we host an annual brunch party for friends who want to join in the festivities. Marathon day is one of my favourite days of the year. Our local streets come alive with neighbours hosting their own get-togethers and a band playing on the roof of the pub opposite our house – it’s a real festival atmosphere. It’s amazing to watch the elite runners speed by, seemingly not even breaking a sweat – they have been training long and hard, their bodies honed to be able to withstand this superhuman feat.
But as well as the professional runners, there are the everyday people, with profound human stories that have brought them to the start line. As you’re probably aware, the London marathon route takes runners 26 miles through some of the capital’s most breathtaking sights.
So it’s desperately sad to see people struggling even at mile seven – because there is so much further to go. It’s for these people that we cheer the loudest. The ones limping, yet determined to run the race, to get to the finish line. Their courage reminds me of those times when I have seen friends or family go through the toughest times – unimaginable pain and suffering; the kinds of situations where it would be understandable if they chose to throw in the towel. But it’s at times like these that these people need us – the ones cheering them on from the sidelines. It’s also at these times that I’m reminded that we run the race of life not for an earthly prize or a marathon-finisher’s medal. The race we have marked out before us is one in which we prepare ourselves now for the life eternal that is to come. That’s a motivation if ever there was one.
Think of someone who is going through a tough time. What can you do to cheer them up from the sidelines? Consider sending a text, writing a letter or an email, or simply letting them know you’re praying for them.
