For anyone trying to make sense of Musk having Twitter engineers print out their code and show it to Tesla engineers… my view is we don’t need to look far to see what is happening. Elon doesn’t like to pay severance. From my coverage in Tesla’s secret layoffs in @Pragmatic_Eng:

I was recently on a flight to Charlotte, and when the flight landed two women, one Black one white, got into an argument after bumping into one another in the aisle. When they got off the plane, the white woman turned to the Black woman, red with anger, and called her the n-word.

@lawik I’m all for that - when I looked into it, I only found a handful of options, and there’s so much variation in the role that it’s very easy to find things that are just not applicable to one’s role/company size/etc.

For the last couple of weeks I’ve been using Apple Music instead of Spotify (in the process of reducing the number of subscriptions I have) and it‘s going really well. I’m not a fan of the stock music app, so I’m using @marvis_music instead.

@bamboohr roughly once a week, the website stops working for me on mobile Safari - even with content blockers off, etc. e.g. today. Colleagues on Chrome, Firefox don’t see the issue.

If you run iPadOS 16 on M1 WITHOUT Stage Manager, is the external monitor experience the same as before? i.e. screen cropped, mirror by default unless the app supports multiple screens?
