We now have a transgender "protection" bill that is more threatening to trans rights than protective. They dismissed every trans voice and concern, rejected self-identity even though trans identity is rooted in self-perception. And the penalties in this bill are wretched.

Unrelated to fandom, but this bill passing is malicious in intent. Blatant erasure of transgender & queer rights and literally not an eye blinked by Indian masses again, while the elected government continues to erase more groups of minorities, like theyve been doing since 2014.
