unfortunately despite n95 masking indoors 100% of the time, covid got me 😔 frustrating to be doing everything right and still end up sick. public health has failed us

I took sooo many least tern photos (and some videos) this morning. unserious bird. tinier than the other terns. stubby little legs. squeaky scream calls. some just look like little bitty balding men. i'm obsessed with them.

@coldharbors oh yeah no its taken me out for a full month then i was at half speed for a bit after. the turn around can be way way diff and still be totally ok after!! long duration isnt the end its just fucking annoying and really mentally floaty
