@SonnyBunch About twenty years ago or maybe a little less they started releasing all the Agatha Christie novels with cool new covers & i was so pleased. By the time i'd bought 4 of them they suddenly changed to that weird bigger format and i HATE it.

The demise of the mass market paperback—as an affordable object aimed at improving access to written materials AND as an aesthetic object with its own forms and beauties—is deeply depressing.
