@itsshinydelta Chi-yu, Landorus, and Raging Bolt are all item locked. Primarina having protect would've won me top 8, sure, but it not having haze or aqua jet would've lost me my cut win-and-in. (I also could've won t8 if I clicked thunderclap or doubled tales on the switch out.)

@combtay Congrats on T8 in Houston! One tip for your team is have more protects to have mind games on opponent, help with positioning and stall out field conditions like trick room and tailwind from opponents end!

@WilliamTimeMage @Light_88_ I've never genned but tbh this sucks. With rng manip on the item printer it takes maybe 40 minutes to build a team of 6 from scratch, I can't imagine you can get remotely enough VP to do the same in the same time...

@Light_88_ This is horrible that we need to spend VP to do it all over again, mind you this also means people can’t just Gen a team anymore, everyone has to spend VP so it’s an odd win.

this is because oda is not woke and clearly wrote this character (despite intense coding) as a "identity-confused woman" and not a man. this actually elevates yamato to "transphobic caricature" which is hilarious when juxtaposed with ACTUAL trans rep from the same arc!

@victryena My conspiracy theory is that they're making champions so bad on purpose to lower the number of attendees at regionals for space concerns

my main concern is that champions creates more barriers for entry than it removes. not many people who play the mainline games even know what vgc is. im sure it will raise awareness as a standalone title but i hope its accessible and f2p players arent significantly disadvantaged.

It's crazy, I've never had this thought about any regional or IC, even LAIC, which I had horrible layovers and travel and did the worst of any event. The staff there were great, and despite everything that went wrong, I had fun

London is a miserable place and euic has been the worst run event ive been to. Not coming back

The toilets are also barely functional like how is the standard this low for the biggest event of the year

@CEL240 You can do this natively in csp too!! There's a setting on the transform tool that lets it behave like the mspaint one
