"We're *not* gonna die down here." He insists.

He looks up incredulously through his cracked glasses. "Why do you suddenly care?" He asks, pulling himself upright.

i am missing from the mirror’s reflection, there is only a "fake" that everyone mistook for someone else.

He grumbles from his spot on the floor, but doesn't say anything. Just reaches up to take another picture. Making sure they're actually leaving that thing behind.

"What?!" Dow demands, "What the fuck was that?" He falls back over as Simon starts navigating again, losing his balance.

"Take a look." He urges, taking another photo to ensure the image is visible. "I... can't really tell one way or the other."

"Yeah. Looks like..." He squints. "Actually, what the fuck *is* that?"

Dow sneers, taking another picture. "What, did I hurt your feelings?" This man seems disturbingly unbothered by the prospect of being attacked.

"You know I think I'll complain all I want. I killed one guy who *deserved* it and they put me in with the fucking *butcher*." He takes another picture. Staring at the screen intently so he doesn't have to look at Simon directly.

He swears under his breath. "Great. Just great."

"Great. So we're in a dead zone?"

"I dunno. Just tell them there's a skeleton down here I guess?" He shivers. "Didn't even realize there were things alive down here let alone dead..."

"Fucking *dick*." He mutters under his breath. "Yeah. It isn't. But it's definitely bones."
