@kisjdmls @pdotpushkin There’s a Copy Me That button for Firefox on non-mobile devices, but not for phones/tablets. Firefox has more restrictions so we’d need a different way of doing it than in Chrome and Safari.

@copymethat I updated app from App Store and the widget disappeared from share. Is there a way to get it back? I use Safari to import recipes.

@Tikimom Yes! In Safari, tap the share box-with-arrow icon to open share menu. Swipe left on the app icon menu and tap More to open App Menu. Tap Edit. Make sure Copy Me That is on (green) and press green + to move it to Favorites. You can also reorder favorites.

I just found out the @copymethat app has been discontinued on iPhone. What does that mean? It means that I lost all the recipes I’ve either created or downloaded online. If you love to cook- it’s equivalent to losing your fav cookbook. Go old school and write your shit down. 😞

@adesinacat The iPad/iPhone Safari shortcut only works with the app. However, you can add the button to Chrome and use it from there. There are directions/video at copymethat.com/info/button/br… if you view the page in mobile Chrome. You can add the button to Safari and other browsers on the Mac/PC

@copymethat I am guessing the issue with copyright is causing shortcut in Safari to stop working? What can we do to help bring it back?

@Kristy70245806 @tim_cook It's not the same as the app, but you can still save recipes from your iPhone/iPad if you add the Copy Me That button to Chrome. Directions and video at copymethat.com/info/button/br… if you view the page in mobile Chrome.

@copymethat @tim_cook I LOVE Copymethat! I’ve tried all of the other recipe apps and deleted them as quickly as I could. None compare! It’s frustrating to have to use my chrome book or PC to save a recipe when the bulk of the time I’m finding recipes on my phone. Shame on the money grubbers!

@romany No, I'm sorry, the file needs to be from your own Apple account since it asks for your password. Have you tried Copy Me That from our website? You can also add the button to Chrome on iOS and continue saving recipes from there.

@copymethat I don’t have the file but I might have installed it at some point.. are you allowed to send the file so I can try? 🤷‍♀️ app would be so much better than web but I just tried all the other apps and I like yours best 😞

@copymethat Continued. Yes, it still happens with another recipe. It even says to refresh the page but the new recipes are not in My Recipes. love Copy Me That and sing it's praises everywhere I go.

@copymethat @tim_cook It won't work for me today (9/12/20). What's the deal? This is the best app ever written. It always puts the source on the recipe so it's not like they aren't getting credit.

@valeryfan I love how you're thinking up possible solutions! Unfortunately, the complaints are about the private recipe boxes, not the Community. Any website can ask to be removed from the Community.

@copymethat Has anyone suggested this: TWO apps. 1, CMT Private, for people who want to use CMT primarily as their own recipe box. And CMT COMMUNITY, which advertises itself as THE way to share recipes with like-minded foodies. I think it’s the best feature.

@Rottie311 There's an issue with one of the internet backbone services (Cloudflare), which is affecting a lot of sites. Copy Me That seems to be back up, at least for some locations. Other websites are still down so this might not yet be a permanent fix.
