Ollie was so determined to be faster than his oldest brother was in 8th grade, albeit on the track vs. Eli's cross country time. I'm very happy that he was able to accomplish his goal.

Distance crew went to Woodstock tonight. Here are officially the top 3 5k runners in school history!!!! (In track) Ollie sets a PR (18:29) from XC season breaking his older brother’s 8th grade time. Benji PRs by a minute (18:51), and Bear runs 19:12 for his 1st 5k!

Let’s get a couple things straight here on this slide. 1) Going in low/spikes down/hands up is not a “dirty” play 2) The rules state if you can reach out and grab the bag with your hand then it’s fair. You do NOT have to slide straight into the base.

@BravesOnBally This wasn't legal even before the changed the rules for player safety. You have always been required to be able to reach the base.
