I got to spend some time on the Flint River hanging out with my Dad and brother and catching Shoal Bass. I grew up swimming and paddling the Flint, it was good to spend some time on the river again.

I was blessed to preach a fall retreat for the middle schoolers from Temple Baptist Church in Hattiesburg. @belmore_andrew, @QuintAdkins, and others did a phenomenal job leading worship. I was impressed with how dedicated these middle schoolers are to the Word and worship.

Congratulations to my friend, student, and former RA camper Cody Roberts on the publication of his recent article in @etsjets! This article started as an @NOBTS PhD seminar paper. Proud of Cody who is a great example of a faithful pastor theologian.

I am reading an author who overuses long sentences. It is the worst. It is also me. I am reading my own dissertation as I turn it into a book. Apparently, I didn't know there was a period key just next to the one for a comma.
