After 18 years in investment banking, I decided to start my own prop firm. @Elysium_Forex Why? Because after watching how some firms operate, I knew there were a few things I wouldn’t be comfortable being part of. I've noticed 3 things: 1. Payouts getting delayed or denied. 2. Rules that feel clear until you’re actually profitable. 3. Traders getting stuck in grey areas. You see enough of that, and you start to understand where trust breaks. In finance, once truest breaks, it’s really hard to rebuild. So my goal with Elysium was simple. It is to keep things clear and consistent. Now here’s the part most people ask. What’s the catch? My honest answer? We’re not trying to be the cheapest and not trying to attract traders who seek "cheap" challenges. I believe that quality comes with a cost. Sometimes, seeking the "cheap" challenges will eventually cost you more. That's it.

the only thing that works if you have some regime based method > trending / non trending. is finding an asset liquid enough for minimal spread and slippage impact and dropping to the lowest possible timeframe. instead of waiting weeks for something to look like something on the 4H chart. just look for it on the 30S etc. trading is subjective only. and any pattern is simply a mental reason to put money into the market. if you think that the pattern or sequence you have chosen to trade moves the market in any way, it's game over. ie there's some shadow figure that watched the market on the 1 minute sweep a high and leave a fair value gap and now shadow trillions will be deployed to push NQ up 25 points. bleh.

there is no sample size. as no method "has" a winrate. does your mean reversion strategy that had 70% winrate in blue box and now has 5% winrate in green box? and trend following 70% winrate in green box now have 5% winrate in blue? there is no consistency in the market. you make all your money by pushing your edge as hard as possible until it's dead.

I don't think that, to answer simply. 😂. if you have a 50% winrate with 1:3RR where's your mil+ in payouts? you'd be the best trader at any prop firm that exists. if you think you "HAVE" a winrate. you simply haven't traded enough, you will hit the losing streak that destroys any idea of any aspect of your method or statistics or sample size you thought to have prior.

@propfitable @LozTradez Ok, that’s definitely a take I’ve never heard of before. You don’t think the patterns you isolated that gave you the 50% WR will remain consistent? It’s not like I have 50,000 trades under my belt but I have over 170 trades in the last year and the numbers seem stable.

you don't "have" a winrate. you "had" a winrate based on the sample size of trades you just took. if you had a magic button that won 50% of trades at 1:3RR you'd be a quadrillionaire. if you trade fixed RR and take 1:3RR only your winrate will be 23%~ and you'll be under breakeven.

Well...here's another firm that plays mind games with you when it's time for payout...@Topstep , their payout process wasn't like this before so it's very disappointing.
I'm on the consistency XFA, get paid every 3 days they say. Last payout was 3/30, payout was approved and funds deducted prior to trading on 3/31. Completed Day 3 yesterday with 37.86% consistency, but the dashboard didn't update so I wasn't able to request a payout. Cleared cache, as they suggested in previous ticket, didn't fix it. So yep, this isn't the first time this happened. Submitted a new ticket, no reply.
Ended up on tilt and blew the account --> this is on me. 😭 I just wanted to vent and share my payout experience.
It seems like @TradingLucid and @TakeProfitLLC are the only firms that have no nonsense when it comes to payout. Anyone else?

Totally agree. They've also went above and beyond when I had a payout approved even though I accidentally "hedged" for a few seconds and they were well within rights to deny my payout.
@MyFundedFutures isn't even among my top firms in terms of payout amounts I had received from but how they treat clients is how I actually rate a firm. MFFU is the exemplary of how business and customer service should be done
On the other end of the spectrum you have @Tradeify who sends you email to congratulate you for having profits forfeited 🤣 and a cofounder @GandalfTrader who couldn't take feedback that was based on facts well, he responds by calling you names just because you made people realise how shitty their live program is 😆
