We recently lost our friend and colleague Danielle Salvatore. To honour her incredible legacy, we set up a memorial scholarship in her name. The endowed scholarship fund will support graduate students at Danielle’s alma mater - the University of British Columbia (@UBC @CHBEUBC @UBCChem). Danielle was my first graduate student at UBC and a co-founder of @MiruSmartTech. She did so much to change future society. Danielle’s groundbreaking work on reactive carbon capture at UBC paved the way for a new field and laid the groundwork for Sora Fuel. She was recently recognized with a 2024 @Clean50 Emerging Leader Award for her work at Miru decarbonizing the built environment. Danielle was also one of my closest friends. ~cpb

It took me a while to get here for those that know my journey. To whoever told me NTTF can’t got to TTF and get tenure. You were wrong. Today I became an associate professor with indefinite tenure 2 years in and doing the best chemistry at @OSUScience of my life and loving it!
