@creaticlesion maybe I could try advertising certain comm styles specifically as “messy” to ease your mind because ppl sign up specifically for that

hm something I keep noticing with my commissions is that I try too hard to make the product look really polished when that's what makes me lose motivation quickly... I sometimes like the cleaner look but it takes so much longer.

I'm a terrible artist to commission genuinely 😭 I keep saying this but after I finish my queue I'm probably closing indefinitely and maybe only doing spontaneous or private comms because I'm really irresponsible and slow

I feel obligated to make my art cleaner even though people probably want the messier art. Something about "getting your money's worth" and also my skewed perceived value of my own art
