Our work with @ctrattner and @danielrosnes got accepted. We investigated the future of content-based news recommender systems, comparing human judgments of similarity and that of different algorithms. I will share more details as @UMAPconf comes closer.

In the new year, we aim to create effective solutions for producing verified content with engaging narratives. As part of #ProjectReynir, we're actively testing the #C2PA standard, exploring hidden image codes to prevent undetectable content modifications. shorturl.at/cmANX

We summarized some of our thoughts about the future of media and AI use and formulated them in several vision papers. SFI MediaFutures focuses on identifying research gaps, improving existing technologies, and ensuring responsible editorial practices. mediafutures.no/vision/

We had three tables with rotating participants at our world café session discussing UI collab, Gen AI and AI policy. We hope that our conversations sparked new ideas.

Wrapping slowly up with Day 2 of our #AnnualMeeting23. This was the panel talk on UI collaboration with Florence Jane Walker, Enrico Motta, Eivind Throndsen, Irene Costera Meijer and our moderator @lolars.

At day 2 of MediaFutures #AnnualMeeting23 we gathered all work package members and our partners for presentations of their work, a panel on university and industry collaboration and the World Café Session in #scandicørnen .
