@cuerrrvos @sstuhia It’s just lore. The maesters theorized that Valyria created dragons from blood magic used on wyrms they found in the mines, binding their blood to the dragons. That’s why Valyrians did incest to keep their blood “pure” and so keep their dragons.

@sstuhia King Ghidorah isn’t a dragon in most versions, it’s an alien. There’s no dragon blood allowing a bond.
The closest to a ASOIAF dragon was GMK Ghidorah, an ancient Earth deity. Or the Heisei Ghidorah which was basically futuristic blood magic mutating the dorats into a hydra.
