@DeputyGrocott We have 2 breaks - a whole school one at 10:20 and then teachers can decide on a 10 min break before lunch . It works really well as you can time it with the task you’re doing in the classroom . We do have a late lunch though at 12:45 so just need that extra break

Been asked on DM to gather thoughts on the following: Thoughts on flexible breaks - adults decide when their class need their morning play and take them out. Lunch is a set time. Teachers have to stay out with their class.

@Teacherglitter I do this too. It gives a wonderful message to my class that I value reading and their focus has improved as they see me reading

Today I went a bit maverick (and broke timetable) as saw a space and zoomed in and they READ. I told them I would read my book too. The impact of seeing me read with them is like nothing else you can do in class to promote reading for pleasure. A magic Mirror.

Not a bad way to celebrate getting a 2:1. Can’t wait to teach and show children that they can achieve anything if they put their mind to it. Bring on graduation 👩‍🎓

@Teacherglitter I’m moving to year 4 after 7 years in my present school in year 5. Look forward to experiencing year 4 alongside you . You will enjoy having the class to yourself I’m sure .

Parents have been informed on the dojo now so I’m super nervous to say after 12 years part time, I’m going full time in September. Was a long agonising decision to make but hope it is the right one. I will also be making a move from year 5 to year 4. Waving at year 4 teachers.

After seeing lots of discussion about @Teacherglitter fab "Book Tasting", I was inspired to make my own menu! It's a bit ✨ extra ✨, but so am I.

@thateyetie When I applied for my current job we were given the questions beforehand. It made the interview much more enjoyable if that is possible and I was certainly more at ease and could be myself
