You’re not going to be able to tell the difference between a human made artwork and an AI artwork very soon, if it hasn’t happened already. You have to face that it is about your values. It’s not about the quality.

Look, you can just say “it’s important to me that a human person made this thing.” All this hogwash about how AI art is ugly… you care about people and that people make art. It’s important to you. You’ve just never had to face that because it’s always been a given until now.

@ammaar @CorridorDigital As a professional working in animation for the last 17 years, I can tell you, tech like this introduces spooky prospects to remove the human element to cut costs further. Stealing images, further taking advantage of already struggling individuals, in an already gasping industry.

@ammaar @CorridorDigital Fixating on how bad this looks might be misguided- what’s scary is its decent for what it is, and I’m sure many big execs would agree. The industry is currently in a brutal transition. Companies are cutting already low budgets, projects and timelines at an upsetting rate.

The folks @CorridorDigital combine Stable Diffusion, Dreambooth, and Davinci Resolve for their AI powered anime and the results are incredible!
