A lot of people just want to consume mindlessly without paying attention to the quality of the books they are reading. I think that’s a bit sad tbh, and why I see some readers defend bad MTL/AI tls

Volumes taking a long time to release due to several rounds of editing and proofreading: “this publisher is taking too long!” Volumes released in quick succession but with sloppy editing and proofreading: “why didn’t the staff spend more time qc’ing before releasing!”

I’ve come to realize that a lot of danmei readers don’t know how much time and effort goes into the official translating and publishing process 😅

Some questions on how to tell if a translation is machine translated/MTL so here are some general tips on what to look out for, specifically for CN novel translations

@qinanyiyu right I wouldn’t objectively rate it a 10/10 novel but gewan really hit all my fave points for tropes and couple dynamics 😭😭😭
