@JJCTTRPG I like the idea of Planescape becoming the central setting. You could easily shift to the other campaign settings from there AND narratively it wouldn't break your game. Sigil provides a number of different genres of play all by itself.

@GaskillRay @JJCTTRPG Sounds a whole lot like the Dark Sun campaign setting, that frankly I'm surprised WotC hasn't tackled yet.

@JJCTTRPG What really appeals to me about a world where civilization is in ruins is that it gives the DM an excuse to limit what's allowed in game. Maybe you don't want to buy or allow every spell, sub class, or race.
