@daddydark Being in with the clique/decision makers, playing their game and luck. Some of the best DJs and selectors for me are the quiet achievers who don’t blow their own trumpet or hustle the game - just play the music - happy to pass the information and extend the knowledge. Big love x

If you generally exclusively play music made by one culture in your sets does it dismay, worry or concern you when you look at the dance floor and there is no one from that culture on the floor or in the building apart from security, bar staff and toilet attendants?

Last one for today. If you are feeling frustrated by your progress take some time off the socials particularly during festival season. Jealousy, resentment and deejaying are not a great mix..
