Menuda colección de majaderías. Los ashkenazíes hablaban yiddish, que es fundamentalmente alemán medieval, los sefardíes hablaban ladino (español) y los mizrajíes hablaban árabe.
Los shekels se impusieron con la colonización, del mismo modo que el hebreo, que era una lengua litúrgica que nadie hablaba, entre otras cosas porque era considerado una herejía. Hasta que el zumbado de Ben Yehuda obligó a sus hijos a hablar en hebreo a principios del s. XX, no había nadie en el mundo que hablase hebreo en su día a día. Además, al hebreo litúrgico le faltan miles de palabras para poder ser usado en un contexto cotidiano, por lo que en torno al 30% de las palabras son inventadas. Por si faltase algún elemento, el hebreo se impuso por ley en los años 50.
Por no mencionar que usted, que se apellida Weinstein como el conocido depredador sexual, y es blanca caucásica, no tiene ninguna relación genética con los pobladores originarios del Israel mitológico del que habla.
La pretendida unidad histórica y étnica de Israel es un disparate de la misma magnitud que lo sería si un grupo terrorista totalitario, a bombazo limpio y con la fuerza de los cheques de la banca internacional, obligase a repoblar Roma con negros y les obligase por ley a hablar latín y pagar en sextercios. Un absurdo.
Si quieres buscar la unidad milenaria a nivel étnico, racial y cultural, viaja a China, a Japón. Israel es un invento basado en mentiras.

Hebräisch wurde bereits im Königreich Davids gesprochen. Der Schekel diente im antiken Israel sowohl als Gewichtseinheit als auch als Währung. Man kann heute noch Münzen aus der Zeit des Zweiten Tempels ausgraben und die Inschrift lesen – die Schrift ist dem modernen Hebräisch sehr ähnlich. Reiche kamen und gingen: Babylonier, Römer, Osmanen, Briten. Zweitausend Jahre Exil und Diaspora. Und doch kehrten die Juden zurück, errichteten den Staat neu, belebten ihre alte Sprache wieder und brachten den Schekel zurück in Umlauf. Nennt mir ein anderes Land auf dieser Erde, das dieselbe einzigartige Kombination aus Name, revived antiker Sprache und historischer Währung vorweisen kann. Ich warte.
