The Wyatt Sicks as a group has become background noise at this point, I love them don’t get me wrong but there are too many members, with not enough direction, and the supernatural stuff feels watered down when it's spread across five people instead of being focused on one unhinged leader. A “minor issue” benching/resting Kane will always be a major problem for England. FA coaches at St George’s Park debate why there are so few 9s emerging. Focus on 10s and wide attackers in academies, more teams playing only one centre-forward in a 4-3-3/4-2-3-1 and cage styles leading to “ballers” not poachers are all reasons discussed. Line-leading skills, back-to-goal expertise, finishing prowess need re-developing. Because Kane is 32 and succession planning is required. #ENG

Before Sensible Soccer and Kick Off, there was MicroProse Soccer (1988). But did you know the game was actually developed by Sensible Software? MicroProse was “just” the publisher and named the game after themselves. The creators were Chris Yates and Jon Hare - the same duo who would later make Sensible Soccer. What might look quite dated from today's perspective was an absolute blast in 1988. Oman beating Brazil 2-0 in the finals to win the World Cup? No problem. Playing in thunderstorms and lightning? Hell yeah! And that replay feature… man, that “R” in the top left corner hits different if you remember football matches on TV from the 80s. Oh, and that banana kick… glorious! Topped off with music from the legendary Martin Galway, MicroProse Soccer was pure 80s gold.

Easy fixes for ultimate team on the next FIFA; - Give us back red picks and do weekly/monthly rewards like the old games. - Revamp Draft all together.. rewards have to be better - Remove skill based matchmaking in non-competitive modes - Playstyles need re-balancing or completely removing. (Not sure it’s actually possible to balance them) - introduce a catalogue with rewards for collectors/creators (example - 20 liverpool players = retro Sturridge card) > would need an option to ‘seal’ a card so you avoid SBC’ing etc Anything I’ve missed you think you would add? #fc26
