Want to know more about how @AsanaEng has slashed their incremental build times by 70 % using Tuist? Read this great blog post by Steve Landey: blog.asana.com/2023/02/scalin…

@puntoste @danielemargutti @tuistio Tuist defaults to statically, but you can decide what's better for you 🎉

@danielemargutti @tuistio We did the switch recently in our “skeleton” app for new projects (but with xcodegen). Question: how are you linking modules/frameworks? Statically or dynamically?
English

Thanks for all the fish, #CocoaPods.
It was a long journey, sometimes challenging but satisfying.
We finally switched to #SPM along with a magic tool called @tuistio!

A big thank you to @albertodebo and @danyf90 for their invaluable help in this transition!

What started as a project between friends became a thriving business on the App Store — and above all, they know how to step up to help their community. Thanks for inviting me to meet with the whole team today! Bravi!

Today’s been one for the books: We welcomed Apple CEO Tim Cook for a visit. Tim met with lots of (very excited) Spooners and got the lowdown on the new products and technologies we’re working on. Thanks for taking the time @tim_cook. It was a real pleasure!

@laxmorek @danyf90 @tuistio @marekfort Is this something you intend do support, or am I way off and doing something stupid here? I just feel like this is what developers expect to see when setting out to use SPM.

Does anyone know how to add a local Swift package to an Xcode project using @tuistio?
Currently using Dependencies.swift and adding .external(“Onboarding”) and .external(“Overview”) to my list of dependencies. It looks like it’s setting up old fashioned frameworks though 😕

@danyf90 @laxmorek @tuistio @marekfort Hmm… It wasn’t really what I was going for though. See my reply to the original tweet. It shows what I was going for.

@simonbs @laxmorek @tuistio @marekfort From your screenshot above it seems it was interegrated fine 👍
If you are interested in caching, have a look at the documentation: docs.tuist.io/building-at-sc… 🚀

@danyf90 @laxmorek @tuistio @marekfort I’d love to hear more about how you use Dependencies.swift to add local Swift packages.
English

@simonbs @tuistio @marekfort @danyf90 Sure, it sounds reasonable. You have to be aware that Tuist cache mechanism will not work for local Swift Packages.
