Might be an unpopular opinion but I just don’t think you can bench Mikal Bridges. I wrote this in @NYDailyNews. It’s terrible they didn’t set one game aside in the final week for him to get 15 to 20 shots up and find his rhythm.

Jalen Brunson was never going to lead any team even close to a title.
First of all he’s 6’1 and guys of that frame just don’t lead teams to titles historically.
Second of all, he’s just not very good. Every NBA 1st option can do several things and most play both sides.
