so here’s what happened: the kid approached chappell’s table to see if it was her and then went back running to her own table to tell her mom about it and someone saw a kid running in the middle of a restaurant so went and told her to stop being stupid and the kid cried

i feel like everyone’s overlooking that a child’s emotional distress is at the heart of this issue. at the end of the day it doesn’t matter who was responsible for the misconduct of that security guard. he was cruel, she was hurt, chappell’s team would be kind to reach out to her
