@aarondgreig @Easton__Butler I absolutely love Reed, but he’s had significant drop issues as well as dealing with injuries. Watson is great when he’s on the field, but it’s hard to count on him to stay healthy. Golden needs to start each week, but he’s gotta improve the mental side of the pro game
English

@aarondgreig @Easton__Butler Just think back to some of those god awful drops that screwed them late in the year(Reed in the wild card round late in the 4th)
English

@FuckGuatemala @aarondgreig @Easton__Butler For a 34 y/o Adams? I think we overestimate compensation many times. Wicks has shown to be reliable and gives them someone who could possibly be there long term. Wicks also represents a likely 5th/6th round comp pick if he leaves in FA. Would I trade a 4th and 5th for Tae, nah
English

@datbig_HE @aarondgreig @Easton__Butler Wicks would need atleast a 4th attached just due to the lack of gametime/snaps. Now Reed and a day 3? That’s a deal I think both sides come out feeling good about
English

@aarondgreig @Easton__Butler The draft is coming up and they like to pick through street free agents late in the summer. That’s likely their plan at corner and DT for depth. Adams is gonna be a short term, pretty cheap option. I love Watson, Reed, and Golden and they are the future, but Adams adds stability
English

@datbig_HE @Easton__Butler Maybe but then you’re still looking for help at corner and d line. Adams is a luxury you don’t need thats also going to block one of the younger guys from development and playing time. I still believe Reed and Golden can be very good when healthy.
English

@aarondgreig @Easton__Butler Again, don’t think it happens but I can see the case
English

@aarondgreig @Easton__Butler Highly doubt it were to happen, but if they indeed are interested in moving Wicks(he’s not getting re-signed most likely so it makes sense), this could end up being how they move him. Wicks and a day 3 pick(6th or 7th) for Adams would give them another ultra reliable playmaker
English

@datbig_HE @MarkOldacres @zachkruse2 Sitting guys as rest does not count against games missed for injury. If it did, sitting relatively healthy guys would add to their number and they still would be bottom half of league.
English

When I keep saying the biggest factor for the Packers to be better in 2026 is just not being one of the most injured teams, this is why.
NFL Researcher@NFL_Researcher
Most players to start a game in 2025… 1. Titans - 51 2. Jets - 51 3. Packers - 50 4. Chargers - 48 4. Giants - 48 4. Cowboys - 48 4. Commanders - 48 4. Dolphins - 48 Fewest starters in 2025… 28. Bears - 40 28. Bengals - 40 30. Seahawks - 38 30. Patriots - 38 32. Rams - 36
English

@aohalek @MarkOldacres @zachkruse2 Sean Rhyan was really the only week 1 starter who was benched but then took over at center following Jenkins and then got a big extension to remain as the starter. They just don’t bench guys long term typically, even when they should(Nixon, Gary, etc)
English

@aohalek @MarkOldacres @zachkruse2 The final game when they sat many starters also contributes to that number. GB is one of the most consistent teams when it comes to starters outside of injuries. They rarely bench guys. They ride it out for the duration of the season in most cases
English

@aohalek @MarkOldacres @zachkruse2 Sean Rhyan at the very beginning of the year, but was right back in there after Elgton got hurt.
English

@aohalek @MarkOldacres @zachkruse2 Gary got benched for one or 2 games near the end of the year. Who else got benched as a starter? Nixon got pulled one game but was right back in there and started the very next game. So it’s not him either
English

@Kelly_K_9 @Daddys_Lambeau And all of his sacks come within the first 8 weeks
English

@Daddys_Lambeau and for what we are paying him that will be just fine, imagine a team dumb enough to pay him top DE money? That would be wild.
English

@sporadica Some non-venomous snake species such as rat snakes will mimic rattlesnake rattles by vibrating their tails in dry leaves/grass as a defense mechanism. Not quite as extreme as the caterpillar but still cool
English

how the hell does evolution manage to do this kinda shit
SULLY@SULLY10X
The non-poisonous Snake-Head Caterpillar inflates its tail to resemble a poisonous viper. It’s found in the Eastern United States in all summer long.

@Livelongandpr18 @RossUglem 7th round pick’s aren’t held to quite the same strict standards
English

they don't like skinny corners
Mark Oldacres@MarkOldacres
Since ‘05 Green Bay hasn’t drafted a CB whose height was more than 21 percentage points higher than their weight using the RAS system, and on avg they’ve been almost exactly aligned in height/weight percentile. 4 popular players who violate this desire for well proportioned CBs
English

@TonyPlushLives @AbernathyHaden @AndyHermanNFL It’s a ball that’s well off the plate. Not even remotely close. If you think otherwise I can’t help you lmao. It’s ok to admit that. If he swung and missed at that pitch, you same people would be saying how he should’ve taken it for ball 4. We go through this every season

English

@datbig_HE @AbernathyHaden @AndyHermanNFL Just because you say it’s four inches low doesn’t change reality, buddy. If you think that’s a pitch you take with two strikes you desperately need to refrain from publicly commenting on baseball.
English

@TonyPlushLives @AbernathyHaden @AndyHermanNFL They are inching closer and closer to a fully automated strike zone for a reason. The fact that it took until 2026 for balls and strikes to be able to be challenged to some degree shows how backwards this sport is compared to the other major North American sports
English

@TonyPlushLives @AbernathyHaden @AndyHermanNFL Not a ton most guys are gonna do with a curve 4+ inches below the zone. Also that’s not hoping to get lucky, that wasn’t a good eye. Again, I’m happy we won, but at what point do we put the responsibility of being better on the umpires since they are the ones fucking up?
