@Cdl91863010 @MaxwellFrostFL For 2020, the Guttmacher Institute said 930,160 abortions in the US. The CDC says 1.3% of abortions are late term. So 12,000+ annually. That's a lot of dead babies. To compare: every year, about 1800 kids (including teens) are killed by gun violence according to the Brady Fdn.

Two months ago, the "ungrateful allies in Europe" readied themselves to sacrifice solders in a desperate last hope to shame the US not to invade Greenland. Iran deserves what it's getting from the US and Israel. The West deserves more honorable leadership in Washington.
Aaron Rupar@atrupar

Hegseth: "Our ungrateful allies in Europe, even segments of our own press, should be saying one thing to President Trump -- 'Thank you. Thank you for the courage to stop this terror stage from holding the world hostage while building or attempting to build a nuclear bomb.'"

Most of the country is divided into sections.... one square mile: 640 acres. You can easily look at a map of most states and count the miles. In a lot of areas you tick off the roads every mile on the section lines. Or know if you own 120 acres it's 3/4 mile by 1/4 mile. It's tidy, fast, and easy.

Not coming from an agricultural background, some measurements don’t make intuitive sense to me. A Hectares are easy enough to come to terms with: 10,000 square meters. Easy. An acre?! I still can’t wrap my head around this…

@rorycooper it's not so much the 4 feet of snow we're about to get ... because there's always a St. Paddy's Day storm ... it's that it's coming in on top of 8 foot drifts.

Michigan Storm Chasers@MiStormChasers

One of the most absurd snow forecasts we’ve ever made here at MSC, we’ve had to add an impromptu orange color for higher totals. Key Notes: •Snow begins to work into Michigan late tonight, but becomes more widespread during the early morning hours of Sunday. This snow continues through Tuesday morning for the UP, and becomes a snow/freezing rain/sleet mix for northern lower Michigan beginning Sunday afternoon/evening. •Winds will gust between 40-60mph statewide both on Sunday and Monday. •This will be a full on blizzard for much of the Upper Peninsula •Expect scattered power outages across the state •Travel will be near impossible for the UP and northern lower Snow totals will be between one and four FEET when all is said and done on Tuesday in the UP. Further south, a mix is expected which will keep accumulations lower, and also will provide a sharp cutoff of accumulations. The difference between a foot of snow and 2” may be the width of one county. Further south, this system will end as snow for lower Michigan on Tuesday, which is why we have a wide area within a trace to an inch, and western lower in a 1-3” zone with wording of higher totals possible. We may need to adjust totals here as new data comes clearer for Tuesday. Stay tuned for the icing portion of this forecast. Northern lower Michigan will see significant icing which is not shown or communicated in this forecast graphic or write up.

Guys, remember when the left went hysterical and accused the students on the Covington Catholic basketball team of flashing a white-power symbol (👌) when it was obviously the b-ball hand gesture for hitting a 3-pointer? Let's not mirror that behavior. Yeah, the guy who openly pledged allegiance to ISIS and hurled the homemade bomb at protesters is perhaps doing a legitimate ISIS hand signal. But we can't let ourselves believe every brown person or Muslim doing ☝️ is signaling support for ISIS. This is one of the most common hand gestures in the world.

When Rama Duwaji was asked how she felt about becoming First Lady, she paused for a moment to think. “It is surreal to hear. I think there are different ways to be First Lady, especially in New York,” she said. “When I first heard it, it felt so formal and like — not that I didn’t feel deserving of it, but it felt like, Me …? Now I embrace it a bit more and just say, ‘There are different ways to do it.’” A little over a week after The Cut published the first-ever sit-down interview with Rama Duwaji, she became New York City’s First Lady. "A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship."
