@Dr_vanNostrand3 I would have but honestly in this context the papers they asked to cite were not unreasonable and lately I’ve seen that editors listen to any reviewers negative assessment of an article even if it is baseless and so egotistical
@debaeser Ya you can usually guess their name from the article(s) they want you to cite
I usually tell them to piss off and flag this to the editor and their institution
I love academia. I’m about to kms because I need to add 10 lines after the title for an 8 pages conference paper and this one like is pushing it to 9 pages and fucking up absolutely everything and there’s nothing else I can possibly remove
@Dr_vanNostrand3 it was single blind so the reviewers names were hidden but this one reviewer kept recommending to cite a specific researcher so I just did
@dirtbaggest daily pass is 180$, the presale tickets in toronto were 82$ but I couldn’t get presale so the general public ones are probably more expensive, gheir traveling there + expenses. b7es osheaga is a better option, I just don’t like the festival vibe + the sets are probably smaller
@debaeser 3 bands you like in 1 day seems like a great deal and you avoid the bother of driving for 10 hours unless the day pass insanely expensive and not worth it
should I try to get Geese tickets in toronto for october (I would have to drive there and find somewhere to stay) or see them in osheaga in montreal but then I’ll have to get a day pass (only good bands that day are wetleg and wolf alice)
