@pucksrenk I WAS THINKING ABOUT THAT TOO IM DEVASTATED but im also happy that angel didn’t suffer and wasnt taken away from his home. but just like power and asa still crossed paths with denji, as though no matter what, they’re fated to meet, i trust angel and aki are fated meet too.

@dedspacitoVT @ChibiReviews I don't disagree, as I said, you've actually convinced me it's a great ending (which made my day, as this series means a lot to me, so thanks). But would have been COOL to SEE this. For example, it would have been cool to see Denji enjoy hunting devils etc.

Denji only really admitted it towards the end of part 2. He never actually wanted a normal life. He was happiest being a devil hunter, being Chainsawman and getting adoration. It would be cool to see more but can’t say I’m displeased that it doesn’t. There’s lots of little things and implications for interpretation. Like Makima never existed meaning the USSR dissolved and Reze living a normal life, Gun devil never blasting Akis family to bits, maybe that’s why he wasn’t there, he never became a devil hunter. It’s fun to think about.

@dedspacitoVT @ChibiReviews Like if you interpret the ending as "Dennis becomes happy with Power as he gets to live a normal life as a low-level demon hunter that the entire world isn't chasing" it's a good ending. But his wack ass displeased face in the chapter doesn't show it at all.

@TheBigEazyE @ChibiReviews It doesn’t invalidate it. Pochita wanted Denji to be happy, and he could only be happy as Chainsawman. The people he loved are back, and he gets to be Chainsawman again, the best ending for Denji.

@dedspacitoVT @ChibiReviews An actual freaking ending that doesn't invalidate the whole manga, rather than a random universal reset with no real build up or explanation.

@dedspacitoVT @ChibiReviews Peak, Denji deserved a life free from the chains of being tied to pochita, who knows, he might even die and many of the events from part 2 might still happen but he gets a fresh start Also, this wouldn't hit so hard without the dread and straight up nihilism from part 2

#csm Overall it’s a good ending, Power and the gang are alive, Makima still dead cuz eaten, Chainsawman even got reinvented because of Asa. It’s open ended enough that he could continue with a part 3 if we wanted to, but imo doesn’t need to.

@Archive_Knarl @ChibiReviews For me it’s an ending that he could come back to, if he wanted to make a part 3. Though I don’t think it needs to, Chainsawman did get reinvented.

@dedspacitoVT @ChibiReviews I wanted it to end on a part 3 coming soon type of ending. Due to Asa calling him chainsaw man it would reawakened denji’s memories and Pochita back into existence and then go out on a journey where he tries to find Pochita, form a new contract and prevent Nostradamus prophecy.
