Big strides for education in MAPHISA! 🇿🇼 President @edmnangagwa officially opened Mahetshe Primary School’s new computer lab and three fresh classroom blocks, further boosting nationwide digital learning by handing over 210 computers and 208 Starlink kits for high-speed connectivity to Minister Hon. T. Moyo. While 60 computers have been allocated specifically to Mahetshe Primary, the remaining units and internet kits are set to be distributed across the province, providing the essential tools needed to transform rural classrooms.

Dear Zimbabwe Council of Churches, You have no business opposing Amendment Bill No. 3. None whatsoever. Your interference in constitutional affairs is a brazen affront to Zimbabwe's democratic order. Stay in your lane. Your mandate is souls, not legislation. Constitutional revisions are routine across the globe - from the United States to South Africa. Zimbabwe is no exception, nor should it be. The usual suspects will argue that ZCC members, as Zimbabwean citizens, retain the right to participate in constitutional processes. Granted. But there is a profound difference between individual civic engagement and an ecclesiastical institution formally mobilising its religious authority against a legislative instrument. Your members may engage as private citizens through appropriate civic channels - that is their constitutional right. However, the ZCC did not speak as concerned citizens. It spoke as a Council of Churches, wielding its institutional authority to oppose a parliamentary process. That is not civic participation. That is an unambiguous overreach. Scripture itself forecloses your position. Romans 13:1 commands: "Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers, for there is no power but of God." First Peter 2:13-14 further instructs submission to every human institution established by law. And Christ Himself settled this matter with finality: "Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's, and unto God what is God's" (Matthew 22:21). Parliament was constitutionally mandated to debate and enact laws - not you. If you crave political influence, resign your collars and contest an election. Be accountable to the electorate as politicians are. Your current posturing blurs the sacred line between faith and politics, divides congregations, and wholesale abandons your spiritual calling. Pray. Serve. Unite. Leave constitutional matters to those elected and mandated to handle them. I thank you.

We constantly hear noise from various quarters accusing ZANUPF and President E.D. Mnangagwa of breaching the law, yet very few sober and objective minds take the time to examine issues fully before rushing to conclusions. Jesse Majome’s recent ZHRC presser is a clear example. It was not an act of principle - it was a blatant display of procedural indiscipline. A commission operating below the quorum required by law has no authority to present itself as fully empowered or legally competent. That is a clear breach of procedure. Yesterday, His Excellency the President, Dr E.D. Mnangagwa, swore in members of the Zimbabwe Human Rights Commission, restoring the institution to the full complement required for lawful and competent decision-making. Before that, the Commission had too few members and was operating below the threshold prescribed by law. Any attempt to project authority under those conditions was fundamentally defective. Majome should consider herself fortunate that the President is so lenient. In a stricter environment, such a blatant violation of procedure and law could easily have resulted in prosecution. Public institutions are governed by statute, not ego. They cannot run on improvisation, grandstanding or selective respect for legal requirements. What made the presser worse was its arrogance. It reflected a dangerous belief that procedure can be ignored when inconvenient. That conduct deserved condemnation, across Zimbabwe's political divide.

NDS2: Matobo Schools Get ICT Labs This is fantastic news for the Matobo community! The transformation of **Mahetshe Primary and Secondary Schools** is a textbook example of the "leaving no one and no place behind" philosophy in action. The timing is especially symbolic, as the official opening on **April 17, 2026**, coincides with the Children’s Party ahead of Zimbabwe’s Independence Day celebrations. ### Key Highlights of the Mahetshe ICT Project ✍🏽Collaborative Effort: The project is a joint venture where the **Rural Infrastructure Development Agency (RIDA)** handled construction and funding, while the **Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education** provided the technical scope. ✍🏽Modern Infrastructure: Beyond just computers, the schools have received a comprehensive upgrade including solar panels to ensure a reliable power supply—a critical "prerequisite" for digital learning. ✍🏽Connectivity: Minister Tatenda Mavetera has noted that these labs are being paired with internet connectivity (including the use of **Starlink** gadgets) and the establishment of **28 free Wi-Fi hotspots** across Matabeleland South. ✍🏽Broader Impact: This isn't an isolated event. RIDA has been rolling out a massive laboratory construction program across the province, with 6 labs in Matobo alone and dozens more in districts like Beitbridge, Gwanda, and Insiza. ### The Digital Transformation Roadmap This initiative bridges the gap between rural and urban education, moving toward a future where STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) is accessible to every Zimbabwean child. | Stakeholder | Primary Responsibility | | **RIDA** | Infrastructure construction and funding administration. | | **POTRAZ** | Equipping labs with ICT tools and providing connectivity. | | **MICTPCS** | Policy guidance, digital skills training, and oversight. | | **Ministry of Primary & Secondary Education** | Defining educational needs and curriculum integration. | It’s heartening to see **Cde Dingumuzi Phuti** and the team ensuring these facilities are "state-of-the-art" rather than just token gestures. These labs will likely be the catalyst for the next generation of tech innovators from Matabeleland South.

Youth from Zvimba District in Mashonaland West have thrown their weight behind Amendment No. 3 Bill, citing the significant progress achieved under President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa’s transformation agenda within a short space of time. They argue that holding elections in 2028 could disrupt the current development momentum, and are therefore calling for elections to be held in 2030. The youths believe the President should be allowed to continue leading until 2030 to fully realise the fruits of Vision 2030, a sentiment they say is increasingly being echoed by many young people across the country. @adv_fulcrum @edmnangagwa @ZANUPF_Official @BarakaZaire @BonaseraAmerigo @DeptCommsZW @CMukungunugwa @TinotendaGacha1 @magadziko43836 @maramba_edmore

A principled and responsible initiative by China and Pakistan. Prioritising an immediate ceasefire, urgent dialogue, protection of civilian infrastructure, secure shipping lanes, and firm adherence to the UN Charter reflects China’s consistent commitment to peace, stability, and a fair, rules-based international order.

The Mabelreign scandal is not an administrative slip - it is a crude display of self-serving politics. At the centre is Denford Ngadziore, whose actions expose a mindset that treats public assets as private property. Dressing up the seizure of a public parking area as “empowerment” must be called out for what it is: blatant opportunism stripped of all shame. Ngadziore is merely a local expression of a deeper political culture tied to Nelson Chamisa. This culture has been repeatedly dogged by allegations of financial mismanagement and personal enrichment at the expense of collective benefit. Widely circulated claims that funds earmarked for the purchase of a bulletproof vehicle were diverted to personal use raise serious ethical questions about priorities and financial discipline, particularly when structures meant to support the broader movement remain hollowed out. More damning are the persistent allegations surrounding election logistics. Funds meant for polling agents were reportedly mishandled under figures such as Ostallos Siziba and Godfrey Chibaya. When resources intended for operational processes are diverted, what remains is not a political movement - it is a vehicle for personal financial advancement. Even insider voices have lifted the lid. Charlton Hwende’s reference to a US$20 million bribe to Chamisa reinforces a pattern that cannot be ignored - this is about money, not service. The hurried intervention by Jacob Mafume only confirms the irregularity of Ngadziore’s conduct. Legitimate projects do not collapse under scrutiny - they endure it. From opposition national leadership to ward-level actors, the pattern is consistent: public trust is exploited, not honoured. Ngadziore is not an anomaly; he is the predictable outcome of a political culture that places self above service. They should be learning from ZANU PF, where political leaders outdo each other in empowering Zimbabwe’s citizens.

I spent my early years in Sanyati, Kadoma. I learned at Chiguvare Primary School and later did my secondary education at Sanyati Baptist High School. That’s why I’m still active in several local whatsapp groups from the area. One of those groups has recently uncovered the truth: Knox is not a war veteran. He was nowhere near our liberation war. His real surname is Mutimusakwa. He only became friends with Geza when he worked as an ARDA manager in Sanyati. Right now, he’s hiding in South Africa. Let there be no doubt - the man is an outright phony.
