🚨🇮🇷 BREAKING: The Strait just closed again. Iran's Khatam al-Anbia headquarters announced it minutes ago: Hormuz is shut to ship traffic effective immediately They're citing U.S. violations of the MoU and Israel's continued operations in southern Lebanon including the killings that have been happening since the ceasefire was supposed to start. Iran is calling this the "first step" and warning that further measures follow if the violations continue. Source: Tasnim, @financialjuice, @clashreport / Writer: Oliver

BREAKING: Iran closing Strait of Hormuz over Israeli attacks on Lebanon
axios.com/2026/06/20/ira…
English

@AJEnglish History has shown that every major disruption around the Strait of Hormuz immediately raises questions about energy security. Hopefully diplomacy moves faster than escalation.
English

The US Central Command (CENTCOM) has said that commercial ship traffic in the Strait of Hormuz increased from June 20 as Washington’s forces continued operating in the area “to support freedom of navigation.”

@AshCrypto This is one of those moments where the world's attention shifts from battlefields to trade routes. Sometimes shipping lanes matter just as

@SaudiNews50 Whether you're following this from a political or economic perspective, one thing is certain: uncertainty itself is expensive

Iran says it is closing the Strait of Hormuz, accusing the U.S. and Israel of ceasefire violations, state media said. ABC News' Selina Wang has the latest on the Middle East.

@Currentreport1 People focus on missiles and headlines, but markets are watching tankers. One strategic chokepoint can influence the global economy more than many realize
English

@KobeissiLetter The real story isn't who is right or wrong. The real question is whether global shipping actually stops. If it does, the impact won't stay in the Middle East—it will reach fuel prices, inflation, and economies worldwide.

Both sides have blood on their hands in this endless cycle. Israel strikes in Lebanon, Iran threatens apocalyptic retaliation and economic warfare via Hormuz. The real losers? Everyday people caught in the crossfire and global citizens facing inflation. Regime change rhetoric or blind support solves nothing long-term. We need a new framework — energy independence, regional security pacts, and honest negotiations. Threats like 'rain down the sky' only make things bloodier. Thoughts?

Iran says it is closing Strait of Hormuz and accuses US and Israel of violating ceasefire deal bbc.in/4eU81TJ

Thinking beyond the headlines: If Iran follows through on Hormuz, expect immediate chaos. Trucking, airlines, manufacturing — everything reliant on cheap energy takes a hit. Your grocery bill, gas tank, and retirement accounts will feel it. This isn't abstract Middle East drama; it's personal for billions. Governments better have contingency plans. Diversify energy sources yesterday. Who's ready for $10/gallon gas?

🔴 Iran has announced that the Strait of Hormuz is once again closed.
Tehran claims the move is a response to Israel’s strikes in Lebanon.
What they don’t mention is that Hezbollah has been attacking Israel on a near-daily basis and killed four Israeli soldiers yesterday.
Iran’s strategy is twofold:
1️⃣ Drive a wedge between the United States and Israel.
2️⃣ Establish a reality in which Hezbollah gets to shoot at Israelis indefinitely, but Israel is not allowed to respond.
