@EtheringtonBros People of course can design their fantasy creatures as they please, but as a mammalogist, and a furry, I can state with 100% assurance that a bipedal digitigrade mammal is an evolutionary impossibility. Upright stance mandates feet with a plantar surface *and* heel for stability.

Vicky Rabbit was a star in furry in the '90s. Some say she was the original inspiration for Lola Bunny. I sold her to a friend in 1997 but her new owner subsequently died without passing her on, so now Vicky is among the lost. Unfortunate end to a legendary fursuit and character.

Our first puppet here at Mixedcandy. @sunniespaniel and I have been working on this project on an off for a while and we can finally call it done. It was a learning experience full of trial and error but really happy we did it. Wanted it to match my art, fursuits and toys so he’s a mix of all that. Already have ideas for the next one, as this one only fits smaller hands.

@richdesignguy All of these legs look broken and painful, and their lack of stability would get you killed in short order in any battle.

In the 1st film I thought this was just slapstick but after Judy hits or throws things at Nick 7 more times in Z2, it's now obvious she's a serial physical abuser. As a victim of abuse myself, it's troubling to me that Disney depicts Judy's behavior as funny/acceptable. It's NOT.

@RahneKallon @greaseyote Many consider BLFC 2015 to be the best furry con ever. Best theme, best vibe, everything a solid 10/10. Subsequent BLFCs were also great, but none achieved legend status like 2015. And since BLFC moved to weekdays in recent years, it's become a pale shadow of its former self.

@psicoyote Finally a voice of reason. Judy was an emotionally unstable rogue cop. The racial stereotypes of the reptiles were worse than 1940s Disney. And Nick's feelings for Judy make no sense. She verbally/physically abused him and repeatedly put him at risk for her own ego. Just awful.

@greaseyote That said, yes, I noticed a long time ago that being furry and personal longevity are strongly negatively correlated.
That observation has been a major reason why I've been careful to always try to make sensible choices in how I live my life.

@greaseyote People who live on the edge of life tend to be the first to fall off.
Although a furry, I've stayed far away from that edge, myself, and I'm still doing fine and dandy now 2 years into my 8th decade.

@Zeroawen None of the above, because a bipedal mammalian furry would have to be plantigrade, possessing a heel and standing on the plantar surface of its foot.
Sorry, but a digitigrade mammalian biped is simply a biomechanical, bioenergetic, and evolutionary impossibility.

I've seen a lot of people usually go for C-D, even though she's supposed to have somewhat accurate wolf hind legs
but i also wonder if the other versions are better (this would be a nice tip for my redesign for her)

@FunneeBee @JensensLaw JFYI, there's no such thing as "digigrade legs" or even "digitigrade legs." ;) "Digitigrade" and the other –grade designations refer specifically to characteristics of the *feet* and the anatomical contact points of their stance, not the form of the legs. :)
