Wow. So the KIDS Act that the House is voting on soon creates a new federal agency that gets to decide how age verification and digital ID works. No congressional vote needed anymore. Whoever the Republicans & Trump choose to sit on this agency dictate how the internet works.

KOSA is still trying to be passed. Please call your representatives! Passing this makes it so you have no semblance of security or protection online. It goes against the First Amendment and would require I.D. in some instances. You shouldn’t require biometric data to be online.

regardless if KOSA / KIDS act is “dead on arrival” or not, you should NOT be using that as an excuse to not contact your sens/reps. ABSOLUTELY still call/email them.
