One clear pattern in the data is how monthly unlocks create a steady drag. Tokens typically lost ground to Bitcoin around each one, with the effect compounding so that by the tenth unlock many were down around 47% relative.
That fixed schedule often meant selling pressure hit regardless of whether the project was gaining real users or revenue.
Linking releases to measurable progress instead could reduce that mismatch and give the token a better chance to reflect actual growth.

🇺🇸🇮🇷 The U.S. and Iran are telling very different stories about the money.
Iran's Mehr news agency reported the deal commits Washington to releasing $24 billion in frozen Iranian assets during the 60-day talks, with half handed over before negotiations even begin.
A senior U.S. official flatly denied it to Axios, calling the claim "spin."
"This is a pay-for-performance deal and no frozen funds will be released without the Iranians implementing their commitments."
Off to a flying start, and they haven't even sat down yet.

In reality, the agreement would only suspend tolls for 60 days before handing the question to future talks.
Iran never charged tolls before the war anyway, so we’re now largely celebrating a return to how things already were.
