If Texas Tech ever gets an invite from the SEC or Big Ten or Super League, it would leave in a heartbeat, no matter how it was treated in the Big 12. Same for any Big 12 school. I understand you're frustrated, but let's think this through.

I know @JoeyMcGuireTTU doesn't need my advice, but here's some anyway...no HC in the country has been as accommodating & welcoming to national media types as he has been. I advise him to be really selective in who he opens up to in the future. They're all snakes in the grass!

My take: He broke very serious rules & there needed to be a consequence. If Tech would’ve come out & said “He will remain on the team, we will continue to help him & get him a degree, but he will not play a game” nobody would’ve said anything. Thanks for doing the right thing
