Drake telling DJ Khaled “Your people still waiting on a free Palestine” was a more direct statement about a real world issue than a lot of rappers people label “conscious.”
That line wasn’t hidden behind metaphors, fake activism, or performative bars either. He just said it. & they discredited him by saying he’s bullying DJ Khalid. Drake addressed a real world problem, & they flipped it to make him look into the villain.
& these are the people who took the high moral ground a few years ago….
