3500 of you without slop maxxing ❤️
I gained a lot of new followers recently. So here's a short intro about myself ( last time I gave my intro was like somewhere around 2k ).
I am working as an AI-ML engineer at a europe based startup from the past 2 months. Before this I worked as an intern twice and an ML lead one.
Am doing dual degree, a 4 year one online and a 3 year bachelors and i will just be over with my 3 year bachelors next month.
Coming to what I love - Just ML, am into AI as an outcome of the demands, I started with ml 2.5 years back and it has been with me till now. No matter what problems I work on, or where I work, I keep reading research papers, implementing stuff, deriving intuitions out of curiosity.
Some of you recently asked my tech stack and tbh it's very varied rn. Am doing everything from Ml to ai, agents, backend, analytics, data engineering. It's almost multi domain fusion but I love my work.
Once in a while I do write articles on X as well and I try my best to articulate my hours and days of exp into that article. I know most of you don't read it but that 0.1% audience who reads it, am just happy for them.
I really don't know what I will end up with in the coming few years but this year has been real fruitful for me, my hardwork has started to pay off ( touchwood ).
If anyone of you wants to read some random rants, hear about ML, quality content, research papers and niche problems and my perspectives on all of this, you guys can follow me, i will make sure i won't disappoint you guys with my content.
Thanks for 3500 guys, this is truly wholesome ❤️🫂

@primal_brainer The so called minority calls it a propaganda movie because they basically don't want terrorists to be killed. The movie is about intelligence, but those terrorist guys are their families.

i heard dhurandhar 2 had some propaganda, so i watched it with a pinch of salt.
but honestly, I couldn't find any.
the party shown in the movie had done the work, and they got credit for it.
Isn’t that how things should be?
kept the movie as real as it could get - peak detailing by @AdityaDharFilms

app store review taking longer than building the feature itself

Nikita Bier@nikitabier
iOS developers: How long is App Review taking for everyone these days? It is now taking longer to get our app approved than it is to build the actual features.

@krunalbuilds @abhisheknaironx my observation is that you must leave mistakes in the past and be prepared to strive
English

@devxMani @abhisheknaironx What’s your observation on this?
English

@abhisheknaironx Funny observation, but there’s some truth in it.
Whether it’s getting hired or getting noticed…
it’s a mix of how you present yourself and how you communicate.
Looks might get attention.
But talking well is what actually gets you through the door.

Naval Ravikant: "You're going to die. It's all going to zero. What's there to stress about?"
"Stress is when your mind has two conflicting desires at once. You want to be liked, but you want to do something selfish. You don't want to go to work, but you want to make money. You have two conflicting desires, and that's stress."
Naval explains the difference between stress and anxiety:
"Anxiety is this pervasive, unidentifiable stress where you're stressed out all the time and you're not even sure why. The reason is you have so many unresolved problems that have piled up in your life, you can no longer identify what the problems are. There's this mountain of garbage in your mind. A little bit is poking out the top like an iceberg; that's anxiety. But underneath, there's a lot of unresolved things."
He shares his personal anxiety resolver:
"One big anxiety resolver for me is just ruminating on death. You're going to die. It's all going to zero. You cannot take anything with you. If you can keep that idea in front of you at all times, what's there to stress about?"
Naval reframes what "wasted time" really means:
"What is wasted time? Everything is wasted time in a sense because nothing matters in the ultimate. But in each moment, it's the only thing that matters. So if you're doing something you want to do and you're fully there for it it's not wasted time. If your mind is running away, wishing you were somewhere else, anticipating the future, regretting the past, that's wasted time. That's time you're not present for."
He concludes:
"People get worried about dying and no longer being here. But they don't realize that so much of their life is spent not being here in any case."
