@jordanbhx @MoseleyCyclist The red brick wall between "the weird stepped bit" and Millennium Point is all that remains of the retaining wall between Grosvenor Street and Curzon Street Goods Station.

@MoseleyCyclist Agreed. A lot of the street furniture could do with a bit of a refresh too as well as the weird stepped bit opposite the Woodman that’s popular with skateboarders. Stick a building there as it’s not an especially accessible ‘feature’.

Eastside Park, Birmingham. When it opened in 2013 it was the first new urban park built in the UK in over a century. Could it be better? Yes. Are 99% of its problems caused by only having one building on its edge and that building doing nothing to enliven it? Also yes.

@jordanbhx @MaryECostello The side of Millennium Point that faces the park was originally the back, with the main entrance to the north, via the North Entrance Terrace and into the main atrium under the rake of the iMax. Parkside Building and the Park were originally car parks for Millennium Point.

@MaryECostello Same size as its always been, and HS2 plans will, if anything, enhance it: space for new buildings fronting it, more people and amenities around, more reasons to actually be there, plus extra some green space. Millenium Point is the issue.

@MaryECostello @jordanbhx The original 2003 masterplan had City Park extending in a majestic sweep from City Park Gate next to Moore St Station through to the canal.

Do any of my #BIM contacts have experience of linking a Morta TIDP directly to Revit drawing sheets, so we're not manually re-entering the same information? Previously we've used Ideate BIMLink to import sheet parameters from an XLSX TIDP.
