@rit @_JamesWard I think so Brain, but where are we gonna find a tutu and a rubber chicken at this time of night... (Remember that?)
English

@tpolecat Cool - now can you make me one of these for meetings please? :-)
English

@tpolecat I always tell people in my training that nothing makes you more popular at parties than a thorough knowledge of the for expression...
English

@ReddyJaySekhar Wow - thanks for the vote of confidence Jay. Feel free to give people the code THANKYOUJAY or udemy.com/course/stairwa… to anyone who wants to give part 1 a try for free - and if it's good, consider buying the other parts?

If I had to do it all over again, I'd start with @dickwall "applied Scala".
The material is so elaborate and deep, he really explains #Scala from developer's view. No BS.
Even the basic modules seem so understandable and fun.
Love the advanced stuff........

To give a bit more context, Tony's Roadhouse was the reason I first got into podcasting! There would have been no Java Posse without @LostAirman and the Roadhouse!
English

End of an era. We were a few episodes behind but just listened to the very last episode of the Roadhouse Podcast. Thanks to @LostAirman for all the work choosing some of the best blues I ever heard over the past 17 years, and now we have to find something else for pizza making

@sissybengals Wow, Henrietta got a great tan on her vacation...

@tracyquinn @cquinn yep - that's the hot-tub/banana incident... :-)
English

@tracyquinn @cquinn The phone one was when it rang during recording, and he threw the phone out into the living room at your house. Nicki said something like "Did dad just throw the phone out of the office?"
English

@kevinb9n If I remember correctly, that same night that I first met Carl at the party was the same night @tornorbye got a whole jug of ice-water thrown down his back by a clumsy waiter...
English

@kevinb9n That was more than 16 years ago now, I was still living near Atlanta, we used to do podcasts in the evenings and it was very late for me because of the time difference
English

Carl was briefly my cubemate in 2005 and I remember the day he came in and confessed that his friends had talked him into starting a podcast. Had no idea I was witnessing history!
He was a great guy to hang with and a great guy to know and it's still hard to believe he's gone.

We will be celebrating @cquinn ‘s amazing life.
