Our paper (first one in a journal as first author for me) is now out. 🙂 sciencedirect.com/science/articl… (open) Thanks again to our incredible participants for all what they shared with us, which made writing this a very intense experience and at the same time facilitated it very much.

@BBCWorld No. Say religious zealots who don't give a shit about women or people in genera, and are just using this for political profit. This poor woman had to fight for years to have her will made, for once. And of course nothing of what happened should have happened.

Total, que no he conseguido que ninguna venga a mi centro educativo a hablarnos de la toxicidad masculina que se ven obligadas a soportar para formar parte del mundo gaming… por la toxicidad masculina del público adolescente que ya han sufrido en centros educativos 😢

@DrMBotha What's happening lately... I saw this yesterday, and I had to read it twice to make sure I was understanding that he was blaming women and caring culture for medical misogyny.

1/3 We created our interactive toolkit by building upon the Autistic SPACE Framework, to create a new, neurodiversity-affirming resource, centred on compassionate, relational and context-aware approaches. But what is the SPACE Framework? Find out more below!

Thank you @jim_reed The COVID-19 pandemic has taught us that healthy indoor air quality (IAQ) is just as important as clean water. We spend about 90% of our lives breathing indoor air, which is often polluted and threatens our health as well as our success at school and at work.

"At the start of the pandemic it was assumed the virus was spread by close contact - i.e. either touching something or through large droplets after a cough or sneeze. That assumption influenced everything" That idea turned out to be flawed. #post" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">bbc.co.uk/news/live/cde4…

@ukhadds @IKostenas I'm now extremely curious about what are the things included and not in that artificial saliva, and the repercussions of it in other studies using it...

WARNING: Surgical masks do not protect you from an airborne pathogen! Meningitus B can be carried on exhaled aerosol. Meaning if you want any protection, wear a respirator. If you are in Kent, mask up PROPERLY, and protect yourself (and others)!! @BBCNews

I also discuss the lack of general human diversity in acoustics research/practice, and assumptions and recommendations from some people more based on normative cultural expectations than in scientific evidence (e.g. habituation to noise, increasing exposure to reduce stress).

reported hyperacusis too, as well as other hearing differences. 3. Development of an Acoustical Inclusivity Assessment tool (AcoustInA), and testing of the tool by 13 collaborators with expertise in acoustics. The thesis will be hopefully out soon (viva this month!).

@fillthewhole @CovidSolidarit1 Watching bacterial infections get worse much faster than usual for a few years now, in patients and daughter with long covid, my brain explodes that people either refuse to believe it despite published evidence or it doesn’t suit medical arrogance to not know stuff.
