The wait is finally over! @nvidia #GeForceNOW rolling out in India on April 16. A couple of months ago, I got to try out ahead of the launch. Have one weird issue with Carplay and iPhone 17 Pro. When the phone is connected to Carplay and I get a call, it rings on mute and I end up missing the call. It doesn't ring on my Apple Watch as well. Unable to debug.

That’s an easy one and I have posted many a times. Category wise ranking- Big ticket movies like Nolan’s movie or Dune 3 or Avengers - go with Priya IMAX as first choice, repeat in SCW. Normal IMAX 4K movies Hollywood - Vishal IMAX, Mall of India IMAX, Logix IMAX & Ambience Gurugram 3D movies (mostly 2K upscaled and rarely 4K like Avatar) - Watch 3D movies in SCW IMAX, Paras IMAX & Mall of India IMAX Bollywood DMR movies (2K) -Ambience IMAX, Vishal and Paras IMAX Bollywood DMR movies (4K) & South Indian movies - Vishal, Paras and MoI I don’t recommend Vegas IMAX.

#Dune3 is part of #FilmedForIMAX program and have secured all IMAX screen around the world for 3 weeks exclusively. So naturally, #AvengersDoomsday won’t come in IMAX. But as usual, world rules don’t apply to India because in Indian exhibition sector, there is a bully sitting on the top. So it will decide whether Dune will get all IMAX screens or they share with Avengers or maybe it can also play a Bollywood film in IMAX over these two and IMAX will continue to watch like a mute spectator, like a toothless tiger. So yeah, in India, anything can happen.

There is no doubt I come across as mister contrarian. But that's prob because I think most people on gaming twitter are mister performative. I think this shit is cool. NVIDIA has already said if devs want to they can have it so their games don't use it. It's simply another option for devs and- frankly- given how much some people demand bleeding edge visuals- it seems a nice leg up for some AA teams (who have games that are better than AAA but don't have the budget for that visual fidelity).

I seriously dont get the hate for DLSS5. Even though DLSS5 does enhance the appearance to some extent, the result is still a much more natural look. I'm well aware of the argument that this alters the developers' style, but 1) everyone is free to disable DLSS, and 2) I hardly believe that visible improvements fundamentally change the atmosphere. So far, every image has been fine by me.

I've seen the full Digital Foundry breakdown. It blows any path tracing out of the water; really impressive stuff. Wait till you see DS2 running on DLSS 5. Devs will be in control of the tech. And for old titles, nobody's making you turn it on. Simple.

This chinese bhikari @Xiaomi @XiaomiIndia has now notified that they'll be discontinuing the filter support for their mi water purifier. Let me remind you that this is a Kitchen appliance, and not a fucking smartphone to stop Updates after a few time, and no one gives a fuck when did you discontinue producing. Its a reminder to everyone reading this, to reconsider buying anything from these morons. A reminder to stick with Indigenous brands only.

@pranavjindal999 @Dhananjay_Tech @TPLINK_INDIA X70Pro has one 2.5Gbps port and two gigabit ports. Since my internet is a 300mbps line, I’m not too concerned about which port I run the backhaul on. I’m also not doing heavy or large data transfer over the network. If I was, I’d use the 2.5G port as backhaul.

@pranavjindal999 @Dhananjay_Tech @TPLINK_INDIA So my backhaul is fully wired. That’s the only way to get full bandwidth on wifi. I have a single SSID and the router intelligently moves my devices across 2.4/5/6Ghz. The deco app also allows you to define which band a device would connect to.
