I’m a Muslim too, and no I don’t feel targeted sitting in some imaginary purge. What I do see is the same echo chamber crying victim every time its narrative gets exposed and there is no way to escape. You don’t speak for all of us. The problem is this habit of painting the entire country and its majority as villains while ignoring everyday coexistence and opportunity. You will still keep your India passport n keep complaining. Instead of empowering people with skills and accountability, you keep recycling fear because your cheap propaganda sells. Stop turning a community into a permanent victimhood-bechara-Dara huwa minority class just to stay relevant.

A new wave of targeting Muslims- not the paan vendor or street hawker this time, but the educated, skilled, employed. The aim is clear: make even the few who’ve secured jobs in this majoritarian system unemployable.

His name was Srinivas Kuchibhotla.
Born in Hyderabad. His parents called him Srinu.
He came to America in 2006 for his master's. Graduated with a 3.85 GPA. Worked his way up from software engineer to aviation programs manager at Garmin in Kansas.
His manager said one thing about him. Top of his class kind of guy.
He built a home in Kansas with his wife. Painted the walls himself. Installed the garage door himself.
A few weeks before he died, they had a doctor's appointment. They were trying to start a family.
He would have turned 33 on March 9.
On February 22 2017, he and his friend Alok stopped at a bar after work to watch a basketball game. An ordinary Wednesday evening.
A man there had been watching them for weeks. Told others they looked like terrorists.
That night, he walked up to their table. Poked Srinivas in the chest. Demanded to know their immigration status. Shouted get out of my country.
Other patrons threw him out.
He drove home. Got his gun. Changed his shirt so nobody would recognise him. Came back.
He fired eight rounds.
Srinivas died that night.
As the killer fled, he told someone he had just killed two Iranians.
Srinivas was Indian. From Hyderabad. Eleven years in America. Not one complaint against him. Not one rule broken.
His mother had asked him many times to come back if he ever felt unsafe.
He always told her he was safe.
His body came home to Hyderabad in a coffin. His mother wailed as it was carried through the streets in a flower laden carriage.
She said she would not allow her younger son to go back to America.
His father said whatever was destined has happened.
The killer got three life sentences.
Srinivas got a funeral at 32.
He did everything right. Degree. Visa. Job. Taxes. Never raised his voice at anyone.
None of it was enough.
His name was Srinivas Kuchibhotla.
Every Indian in the US deserves to know it.

Mahan Mj proved the existence of Cannon-Thurston maps for simply/doubly degenerate surface Kleinian groups (Annals of Mathematics, 2014). These are continuous, group-equivariant extensions of the inclusion map from a hyperbolic surface's universal cover (H²) to hyperbolic 3-space (H³), showing the limit set is a continuous image of the circle at infinity—thus locally connected.
His 2010 arXiv paper extended this to arbitrary finitely generated Kleinian groups without parabolics, resolving Thurston/McMullen conjectures. It bridges topology, geometry, and dynamics in 3-manifolds.

Next in who after the Ramanujan series? A mathematician whose work is so deep that it borders on the spiritual, yet who remains a total mystery to the public, we must look at Professor Mahan Mj (also known as Mahan Maharaj/Swami Vidyanathananda).
In the world of logic, he is a ghost; in the world of geometry, he is a king.
Mahan Mj is arguably the only person on Earth who is a Saffron-clad Monk of the Ramakrishna Order & a top-tier global mathematician simultaneously. He is a Prof of Mathematics at TIFR, Mumbai. He lives in a simple monk's cell, owns almost nothing, & wears only his saffron robes, yet he solves problems that baffle the minds at Harvard & Oxford.
Most people think science & religion are at war. Mahan Mj proves they are 2 sides of the same coin. He treats a complex geometric proof as a form of meditation. When he won the Infosys Prize (₹65 Lakhs), he donated the entire amount to a trust for the education of underprivileged children.
His landmark work resolved key aspects of the long-standing Cannon–Thurston Maps conjecture in hyperbolic geometry & geometric group theory, a problem connected to Bill Thurston’s program that had remained open for decades. This work was so significant that he was an Invited Speaker at the International Congress of Mathematicians (ICM) in 2018, the absolute Olympics of math.
Like many geniuses, his path was not linear. He ranked AIR 67 in IIT-JEE & joined the EE program at IIT Kanpur. Halfway through, he realized that circuits were too noisy for his quiet mind. He fought the system to switch to Mathematics. He completed his PhD at UC Berkeley under Andrew Casson. He could have stayed in the US & lived a life of luxury as a superstar professor. Instead, he returned to India, joined a monastery, & continued his research from a room with a bed & a bookshelf.

After deep reflection, I have taken the difficult decision to withdraw from the FIDE Women’s Candidates Tournament.
No event, no matter how important, can come before personal safety and well-being. Despite the assurances provided, I do not feel fully secure under the current circumstances.
This is a painful but necessary decision, and I stand by it.

@MEAFactCheck / @PIBFactCheck have become quite active and are debunking many fake videos and news floating around.
Request Indians to follow them and amplify their posts. I am also going to do this from now. An RT can really boost their reach. They need to reach the world.

Odds are I’d ban Canada too, FYI.
