Every place you build has something special about it. It could be the sunsets, views across to the trees, a forest on the land, or even birds nesting on a nearby tree. We can respect the spirit of the place (genius loci) in our builds.

@dnahinga Its very organic. I want to build a small farm cabin somewhere & I have been keenly observing use of local materials. They age well, camouflage well & look a part of an existing ecosystem. I like your approach to build though. Fundamentally different but challenges status quo!
