The most important element of chastity is the connection between the Domme and the sub. Not the cage, the duration, or even the self-control. Without an active, intentional, and consistent connection, chastity feels empty and pointless. It's a strategy to add intimacy.

The first sign a sub is getting too comfortable: He stops treating access like a privilege and starts treating it like a normal part of his day. That’s where the shift happens. Less restraint. Less care. Less awareness of your standards. He stops waiting properly. Starts assuming replies. Assuming availability. Assuming access. Then come the little liberties. The casual tone. The “just this once” energy. He starts acting comfortable instead of correct. A serious sub never forgets: your time is not automatic. your attention is not ordinary. your access is not casual. Comfort becomes a problem the moment it weakens discipline. The right dynamic can be warm. It should never become careless. Privileges are enjoyed. They are never assumed.

It's always difficult to communicate during times of stress, let alone tie it back to a D/s activity. I try my best to get the emotions shared but typically avoid asking for something more than connection. Honestly, I often want that escape so badly.

I've never worn a Martingale collar. I can see the appeal of having a collar tighten when tugged.

@Yakov_Plz We get stuck in that mentality as men. Practice makes perfect. It can bring an extraordinary amount of value to or Domme's. Give it a try, but start simple.
