he pretends to think it over, humming and hawing. getting that look feels like a reward all in itself. it’s fun, drawing it out of lucanis.

@dogearedcrow lucanis gives him a 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬, deft hands winding and twirling with practiced ease, the corners of his lips betraying a hint of a smile.

he begins tapping his fingers on his thigh, watching lucanis’ own with a slow, mischievous grin.
“—are you willing to give me. as a reward, that is.”

he reaches for the yarn, trying not to miss the kisses TOO terribly as he begins to wind it into something more usable.
"hm. what would you like your reward to be?"

a shrug and one more kiss before he’s lifting the now untangled mass of yarn between them.
“tada! task complete. what’s my reward?”

not that hes complaining, tone as warm and loving as the gaze that meets arbor's own.

and there’s no question that those words are true. not with the way arbor is looking at the other crow right now.

@dogearedcrow he tilts his head, placing a gentle kiss against that finger, than another, and each in turn.
"hm. are you sure? even if I were to make the softest, warmest sweater you've ever worn?"
he knows the answer, of course.

@alesultio an eye roll, nose scrunching before his thumb tugs at the corner of lucanis’ lips.
“not what i meant. i was trying to be cheesy. i’ll love the sweater. but i won’t love it more than you. you’re beyond anything.”

@dogearedcrow lucanis pulls back just enough to fix him with a look, brow raised, fighting the smile that twitches the corners of his lips, betraying faint amusement.
"more than just wanting to please me, ideally."

his lips split into a wide grin, interrupting the attempt to press more kisses to lucanis’ lips.
“what’s included in ‘anything?’ because i might have to refute that depending.”

@dogearedcrow he leans into the hand, then up to meet arbor for that kiss, reaching to place a hand over the one on his cheek.
"I 𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘦 you'll wear it because you like it more than anything."

@alesultio fingers from one hand untangle from the yarn to press against the cheek he’d just kissed, leading lucanis into a soft kiss.
“it’s perfect. i can’t wait to see it finished. and to wear it for you.”

"I thought it suited you well. spotting yarn nearly the same shade in the market felt like fate."

@alesultio he leans forward to press a few kisses to lucanis’ cheek, nodding after.
“it’s a really nice shade. reminds me of what we wore to the wedding. you liked that color on me that much, hm?”

humming, watching him work. he would have gotten to the untangling eventually. probably. but this is, admittedly, nicer.
