Hello, I have a free ticket for today’s screening of It Was Just an Accident at 14:30 @LFFstubs #LFF I am in BFI Southbank currently for anyone that wants it :)

@wikjablonska12 @LFFstubs Really frustrating to see it, but most of those empty seats would be from people who'd bought tickets, or were given them, but didn't turn up. Any unsold or returned tickets would be snapped up quickly.

@LFFstubs I haven’t tried it but for example at yesterday’s gala of bugonia there were sooo many empty seats so I would guess it’s possible to get in

@LFFstubs This is so irritating, and disrespectful - to the film-makers in attendance, and to the people outside who couldn't get a ticket. The "I've got better things to do than watch a film I haven't heard of" attitude sucks.

People walking out of the surprise film last night confirms my theory that a lot of LFF goers like celebs, not films #hottake

@LFFstubs I walked out because it was a fine film but I thought there was 2 hours left of it after 45 mins in and couldn’t take any more of it. It was a good film but nothing like past surprise films in terms of quality. Felt like anora meets baby driver and whiplash in a bad boring way.

@lizslayed Same! My favourite film of LFF so far.

I thought #TheHoldovers was wonderful. Superb casting, Paul Giamatti was fantastic, but so were the supporting actors. It’s so well written, I was laughing one minute and crying the next. Alexander Payne has made another beautiful film. Definitely one of my #LFF favourites ❤️

@blakethinks Bumping "The Holdovers" to January seems counterintuitive, seeing it's very much a Christmas film. (I was at the gala tonight - and loved it).

@tashajagger_ One of the reasons I like to sit closer to the front in any screening is to avoid seeing latecomers or the almost constant tag team of people coming and going to the toilet. 🙄

someone walked into the Priscilla public screening around 40mins into the film. Quite a lot of people were 5-15 mins late tbh. It’s quite frustrating but 40 mins is kinda taking piss
