You put that together and she is faster. If I have a race with light and I teleport right before the finish line and then stretch out my arm to cross the finish line-

It’s no indication of Gojo being faster than Sakura.(could also be an indication to us the reader that Gojo is moving very fast) There is afterimages in Hajime no Ippo

So the sheer difference in speed would have him shock. One second she is 50 meters away from and within that same second her punch connects.

In a normal encounter his domain wouldn’t be instantly open tho and he wouldn’t be able to react to her suddenly running towards him.
